I am grateful for so many things this Thanksgiving.
I am grateful for my big loving family.
I am grateful for my incredibly hard-working, successful wife who doesn’t just sell houses and help people find their dream homes, she makes loyal clients and friends for life. She is diligent, sincere, passionate, and empathetic. She supported my efforts this year in launching StableGenus.com and provides me with constant encouragement to push forward. She is a loving wife and mother to our daughter and I’m so lucky she said yes.
I am grateful for our bright, beautiful, energetic 4 1/2-year-old daughter Eleanor. She is a beacon of light, a constant test of her daddy’s patience, and a little clown who constantly makes me laugh and smile.
I am grateful for the roof over our heads and the full pantry and refrigerator in our kitchen. So many in this country and around the world have nothing and are suffering. We must never forget those that will never know the bounty most of us take for granted every day.
I am grateful to live in the United States of America with all of its natural beauty and rich cultural diversity. I am grateful we still live in a democracy and our election process held strong all across the country on Nov 8th.
I am grateful for all of my friends, many of whom hold different political opinions than I do, but who are amazing, generous, and talented in so many ways. I am grateful for what we do have in common: love of family, sports, delicious food and drink, traveling, music, reading, movies, and enjoying the great outdoors.
I am grateful for the beautiful view looking out my window into our backyard and beyond. I’m grateful every day for the lake, the birds, the deer, the swaying trees, the breaking clouds, and mesmerizing sunsets.
I am grateful for my two sweet dogs.
I am grateful for my health and that my parents still have theirs. I am grateful for every moment I have with them.
I am grateful for every morning I get to wake up and seize the day.
